About us & this project
Dear Teachers,
The 2020-2021 school year is going to be different. In some ways, we are all first-year teachers as we learn new teaching strategies, practices, and technologies. Regardless of the unknowns - and there are many- one thing remains the same. Our students must come first. No matter where our students sit, we will meet them where they are and help them get to where they need to be.
This website was built by 2 experienced educators who are dedicated to helping teachers situate themselves in the new hybrid learning environment. We recognize that your classroom may shift from brick and mortar to online to a mix of both throughout the year. We hope this site can assist you with practical tips that fall between research and the how-to documents of technology.
No matter where you or your students sit, education is about access, community, and engagement. Our goal is to help you build a successful hybrid classroom and to develop new skills and ideas that will enhance your teaching and your students learning when we fully return to our classrooms.
